Gabriel House

Current Issues: Car Park - Birds' droppings.

Proposed Actions: Council asked to prune back trees.

Birds' droppings have become a serious problem, in fact health & safety issue, on the Gabriel House's car park. Birds' droppings are incredibly corrosive and when bird poo dries and becomes airborne it can be inhale and people can get very sick. When cleaning droppings a person may breathe in some of the fungus, which can cause lungs infection. In addition, bird faeces is very acidic, this can lead to corrosion of cars' paint surfaces it is present on. Unfortunately it is a daily occurrence and we have asked the Council to solve this deplorable and unfair situation as soon as possible. We still are waiting for the Council's relevant department to take a decisive action on this regard.
